Occupational Therapy Event Focuses on Leadership

WHAT: Dr. Penny Moyers, president of the American Occupational Therapy Association, will discuss The Ultimate Act of Leadership: Mobilizing Minds and Creating Action at the daylong 15th anniversary celebration hosted by Duquesne University’s Department of Occupational Therapy. The event will honor 15 alumni and offer additional seminars reflecting different aspects of the flied, such as the best practices in the field. 

WHEN: Thursday, Jan. 24, 1:30 p.m., “Best Practices” and student showcase sessions; 6 p.m., keynote and alumni event

WHERE: Sessions are at the Rangos School of Health Sciences; keynote and alumni event are at Duquesne University’s Power Ballroom, 1015 Forbes Ave.
