WHAT: The Beard Center for Leadership
in Ethics will host Breaking
the Glass Ceiling,
a luncheon forum that will focus on issues surrounding
the challenges of women leaders and managers in
workplaces dominated by men.
Featured speakers include Gretchen R. Haggerty,
executive vice president and chief financial officer
of United States Steel Corporation, and Major General
Jessica L. Wright, adjutant general of the Pennsylvania
National Guard, who will share their experiences
and discuss what “breaking the glass ceiling” means
to them. A question-and-answer session will follow
their presentations.
Breaking the Glass Ceiling is part of the Beard
Center’s ongoing Ethics Luncheon Forum series. The
cost is $90 per person or $750 for a table of eight
