A keynote address from former FBI Director William
H. Sessions will kick off Justice for All,
the sixth annual Forensic Science and Law Conference
at Duquesne University. Top experts and scholars
from across the nation will gather at Justice
for All to explore the sweeping impact of
forensic scientific advances on criminal justice
reform.
Sessions, a former U.S. Attorney and U.S. District
Judge for Western Texas, will present The
Past, Present and Future of DNA Testing in the
Advancement of Criminal Justice.
The address will be followed by the panel discussion
Framing the Debate: The Role of Investigative
Journalism in Criminal Justice Reform. Pulitzer
Prize-winning investigative reporter/editor Wendell
Rawls will moderate the discussion with panelists
Steve Mills, Chicago Tribune reporter, Maurice
Possley, Chicago Tribune criminal justice reporter,
and Pete Shellem, investigative reporter with
the Harrisburg Patriot-News.
