History Month with Melody Heart & Soul of
African Heritage, a series of cultural, musical
and educational events that are outlined below.
Free and open to the public, the events focus
on the contributions of Africans and African-Americans
to music during the last 100 years that have helped
to enrich and build the musical landscape of the
